Community Informational Resources for Advancing the STEM Workforce
This site provides a collection of informational resources related to addressing barriers and broadening access to research and education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) - including the fields and research environments supported by the DOE Office of Science (SC). These resources are created and made available by the broader science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM) community. The summary of discipline- and demographic-specific reports, workshop proceedings and other resources listed here are intended for convenient access by SC program managers and researchers to enhance their understanding of barriers and broadening access to careers in the scientific enterprise and to promote effective practices for creating productive, inclusive, welcoming workplace cultures.
Reports and Ongoing Studies of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM)
This list features over 65 consensus study reports, workshop proceedings, meeting materials and recordings, and other resources from NASEM.
The resources are organized by the following focus areas: underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM); sexual harassment in research environments; STEM training and workforce development; and scientific discipline-specific diversity, equity, and inclusion workshops and related materials. Within each resource type, the references are listed in reverse chronological order.
