EFRC researchers fabricate a novel device for channeling light. This work, featured in the Office of Science's Stories of Discovery & Innovation, was supported by Light-Material Interactions in Energy Conversion (LMI), an EFRC led by Harry Atwater at Caltech and the Center for Energy Nanoscience (CEN), an EFRC led by Daniel Dapkus at the University of Southern California.

Breakthrough solar cell harvests electricity from the sun's thermal energy. This work, featured in the Office of Science’s Stories of Discovery & Innovation, was supported by the Solid-State Solar-Thermal Energy Conversion Center (S3TEC), an EFRC led by Gang Chen at MIT.
