Capital High School - Big Sky Regional High School Science Bowl
Killian Humbert is 16 years old and goes to Capital High School in Helena, Montana. He has been in Science Bowl for two years in total and he has experience with other similar competitions. When he leaves high school he wants to study to be an aerospace engineer, specifically working on the design of space probes. Some of his hobbies include game design and theater.
Nathan Turner is going to Montana Technological University in Butte Montana for electrical engineering and is a member of their honors college. He has lettered in cross country and track, and he has participated in the Capital High Science Club and Science Bowl since his freshman year (2017).
Zach Boles is currently a senior at Capital High School. He is planning on going to Montana Technological University in Butte Montana and majoring in mechanical engineering, Mathematical Sciences, and a minor in Physics. He is also a presidential scholar at Montana Technological University. Zach is a cellist at the Helena Symphony and has been accepted to play in the All-Northwest Orchestra,
Mariah Mercer is a senior in high school who plans on attending University of Arizona next year. She is hoping to study molecular and cellular biology and nutritional science. Mariah has participated in a variety of activities including dance, theater, girls supporting girls, and health occupational students of America. She is also the Distinguished Young Woman of Montana for 2021.
Tyler Almquist is a senior at Capital High School in Helena, Montana. He is planning to attend college and study physics. He is a National Merit Scholarship finalist, and has participated in Science Club, Robotics Club, Math Club, and Coding Club during his time at Capital.
