Cris Ruffolo, Coach
Coach Cris Ruffolo has been lucky enough to coach Science Bowl at both middle school and high school divisions. The best part of her job is meeting fascinating people. The best part of her life is watching her family grow up.
Srivatsa Bellamkonda
Srivatsa Bellamkonda is a high school junior who is going to miss the soft serve from the 4-H center. When he is not thinking about ice cream, he is wondering how he broke his phone case the second he asked his dad to get rid of the excessive otter box. In his free time, he journals, stares at the panda painting in his room, and occasionally opens up a science book
William Sun
William Sun is currently a junior at North Allegheny High School, where his favorite subject has been physics. Outside of Science Bowl, he participates in Model UN, Debate, and DECA, as well as serving as the concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony. In his spare time, he enjoys consuming Star Wars content and spending time with his pet green-cheeked conure.
Claire Zheng
Claire Zheng is a senior whose favorite Science Bowl subjects are chemistry and math. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, eating oreos, rock climbing, folding tiny paper cranes, and looking for friendly neighborhood cats. She will be an incoming freshman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and hopes to work with healthcare technologies in the future.
Pradyun Solai
Pradyun Solai is a junior who can solve a Rubik's cube in fifteen seconds. His favorite science subject is theoretical physics because he wants to understand the mysteries of the universe. You can often find him on the tennis courts or playing chess. He enjoys participating in the science fairs and competing in the US Physics Olympiad.
Anshul Shah
Anshul Shah is a junior who likes both science and bowling, making Science Bowl a natural fit. Of all the subjects, he loves computer science, math, and physics. When not at Science Bowl practice, you can find him playing guitar, working on science fair projects and doing taekwondo.
