Martin Long, Coach
Coach Martin Long has been teaching science for thirty three years at Ladue Middle School. He coaches Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, Cross Country and Track. Coach Long met his wife Kelly in graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis and they have four children (ages 23,22,19,15). In his spare time he enjoys running, cycling, skiing and pickleball.
William Yin
William Yin has been competing in the Science Bowl for three years. He lives in Saint Louis and goes to Ladue Middle School. His favorite subject in school is math, and his favorite thing to do outside of school is to read.
Aaron Lin
Aaron Lin is an eighth-grader attending Ladue Middle School, and will be attending Ladue Horton Watkins High School next year. He loves doing math and physics, and this is his third year of Science Bowl. He also enjoys piano, violin, tennis, soccer, and chess.
Anthony Zhao
Anthony Zhao is an eighth-grader who loves biology. Some of his hobbies include reading, studying, and riding his bike. Anthony plans to go to medical school and be a doctor in the future. An interesting fact about Anthony is that he listens to pop music daily.
Alex Wang
Alex Wang is an eighth-grader whose favorite classes are math, science, and industrial tech. In his free time, he likes to take naps, read books, play soccer, and hang out with friends. His future plans are to go to college majoring in a STEM subject and help create a better world. Some interesting facts about him are that he can solve a Rubik's cube quickly, make an origami balloon, and hit trick shots in ping-pong.
Luke Ye
Hi! My name is Luke Ye and I am fourteen years old. This is my second year participating in Science Bowl and I like to play chess in my free time. I also like to run and play ultimate frisbee with my friends on the weekends.
