Notes and Registration Process

  • Beginning Monday, October 7, at noon Eastern Time: Coaches either log-in to existing or create new accounts.  The only information needed initially is the coach, co-coach, and school information.  Coaches will not be asked (or allowed) to enter any information on the team members.
  • After the team coach agrees to follow the eligibility requirements AND consents to the information in the former “Adult Consent and Media Form”, the coach can submit the school’s PREREGISTRATION.
  • After the coach submits the school PREREGISTRATION, the Regional Coordinator will approve the PREREGISTRATION if there is space.  An approved PREREGISTRATION secures at least one spot for a school.  Note: If the coach or co-coach is not a school employee, the school principal must complete the coach approval before PREREGISTRATION can be approved.
  • Medical forms are not required for the BPA Regional event. If your team wins Regionals, you will need to provide them for Nationals.
  • You are allowed 4-5 students per team. Students may not switch teams during the competition day.
  • Up to 2 additional teams will be allowed to register based on space available date tbd. Email communications will be sent to coaches and co-coaches.
  • Team t-shirt sizes must be entered (best guess) by Monday, December 2nd. T-shirts for students, coaches and co-coaches provided. Gift backpacks with refillable water bottles provided.
  • Team arrival time for check-in is 6:30 a.m. Continental breakfast, beverages, mid-morning beverage drop on the Skybridge and afternoon snacks provided. Teams must bring their own lunches.
  • Only 1 coach and 1 co-coach and 5th registered student team member (if applicable) will be allowed to accompany their team into competition rooms. If the coach or co-coach has a child with them at the event, they are allowed to accompany the coach or co-coach into the competition rooms (we understand there are occasional special circumstances). *Everyone (all coaches, parents, families, observers, volunteers) will be welcome to attend the 4:30 p.m. Championship Final Rounds in Buckley Auditorium.
  • This is an all-day event for teams that make it through morning round robin rounds. The top 16 teams (typically) from the morning rounds will move on to the afternoon double elimination rounds ending at approx. 3:30pm.  Championship Rounds 4:30pm Buckley Auditorium.
