A cloud chamber is a simple device that allows you to observe the decay of radioactive materials. Learn how to build your own! While it isn't difficult to build, it does require dry ice, isopropanol and a source of radiation, all of which are commercially available. If you do decide to build your own cloud chamber, download and read the Material Safety Data Sheets for dry ice and isopropanol. If you don't understand how to use these materials safely, do not do this experiment.
