Preparing a DOE SBIR/STTR Fast-Track Grant Application

Fast-track grants are opportunities to expedite the decision and award of SBIR and STTR Phase I and Phase II funding. Fast-Track incorporates a submission and review process in which both Phase I and Phase II grant applications are combined into one application and submitted and reviewed together.

The relevant DOE SBIR/STTR Topics Document should be consulted on our funding opportunities page to determine if Fast-Track applications are being accepted for a particular topic. The detailed requirements of a Fast-Track application are provided in the applicable Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).

Fast-Track applicants should download the DOE SBIR/STTR Fast-Track Application Checklist

As the Fast-Track application combines both the Phase I and Phase II Grant Applications, applicants should refer to the following pages containing the resources required to complete a Fast-Track application. These include the Phase I application step-by-step guidance, blank forms, sample completed forms for some components, level of effort and ROI worksheets, cybersecurity self-assessment and a host of other resources:
